Limiting Disc Space

How to limit the amount of disc space each user has on a computer

I just came across this option In Windows 7 when I was looking for something else! (I haven’t looked to see if it is there in older versions on Windows).

This option allows you to limit the amount of disc space that each individual user has.  This could be really useful for a family PC or laptop, where each member of the family has their own user area.  It will allow you to set disc space limits so that one member of the family doesn’t use up most of the space of the hard drive.

If your teenage son/daughter downloads endless mp3 files which are never deleted and never listened to, filling the hard drive and preventing everyone else from downloading – then this is the option for you! {+}
