Sometimes you will want to use double line spacing in your Word document. How do you do this?
In Word 2007 choose the “Page Layout” tab: {+}
Now, look for the “paragraph” group of icons. At the bottom right you will see a little arrow (highlighted in the screenshot below).
Click on the little arrow to bring up the paragraphs dialog box.
Click on the downward pointing arrow beside “single” in Line spacing and choose double spacing.
REMEMBER: If you have already typed the paragraph(s) that you want to change you will need toHIGHLIGHT them first.
In Word 2003 or earlier
Click on Format in the Menubar at the stop of the screen.You should get the same dialog box as above. Select double spacing from the drop down list, as above.
